LIAISON ASSISTS TYCO HEALTHCARE/MALLINCKRODT WITH ADOPTION
OF NEW CORPORATE MONIKER

CINCINNATI, OH – Tyco Healthcare/Mallinckrodt recently reintroduced itself as Covidien.

The introduction was launched at the June meeting for the Society of Nuclear Medicine in Washington, D.C.

Liaison Marketing Communications, Ltd. produced a variety of materials to support the launch at this event, including a video that presented Covidien's new positioning. The video, featuring Covidien employee testimonials and an animated logo morph segment, appeared on the Covidien exhibit video wall and other monitors throughout the convention center.

The video was one of several communications tactics that Liaison developed to launch the Mallinckrodt/Covidien transition campaign. Liaison also produced journal advertising, pre-show mailings, and trade show graphics.
