OPTIVANTAGE™ DH

Contrast Delivery System for
Dual Head Injector Protocols

Mallinckrodt, a Tyco Healthcare Company, is an industry leader in imaging, providing a full line of contrast media and delivery systems, radiopharmaceuticals, and urology imaging systems for the diagnosis and treatment of disease, encompassing a wide range of imaging procedures.

For the global launch of its newest product, the Optivatage™ DH Contrast Delivery System, Mallinckrodt enlisted the services of Liaison Marketing Communications to design and execute an integral set of marketing tactics. Customer research, trade advertising development and placement, trade show booth graphics, and trade show support were all components of a comprehensive communications plan.

Additionally, Mallinckrodt needed a sales support tool to help educate its sales force on the product, while offering detailed product information to prospective customers.

An interactive program was developed with a user-friendly menu interface, allowing the user to view a step-by-step presentation of how a contrast injection is performed using the product’s innovative, new software. This demonstration was accomplished using computer-generated animations and recreations of the actual software screens. Users are also able to select and review additional categories including: Product Features and Benefits and Configurations/Accessories.

The interactive program was made available on CD and online. Both US and international versions were produced.
